My experience with Chelsea was amazing! I don't know what I would have done without her constant support throughout my pregnancy, during labor, and postpartum. From all of my questions pre-labor, to working my body through labor and just being there postpartum to talk to, it was and still is, a great experience. Chelsea is very professional, yet at the same time, you feel like you've known her forever and can talk to her like a friend as well. Definitely something I don't think I would have gotten from anyone else . I will be recommending Chelsea and her doula services to everyone I know that needs it!
Having Chelsea as my Doula was one of the best things I did for my labor and delivery of my precious first born. I really didn't feel ready to have my baby until after meeting Chelsea for the first time, it was then I knew I made a great decision in choosing her. Chelsea helped me labor at home as much as possible. When I got to the hospital, I was relieved to hear that I was 6 cm and they were able to admit me. Chelsea helped me labor unmedicated for 36 hours. She was exactly what I needed for my support system. She was incredibly nurturing, positive and encouraging. She had many tools for helping me through the long labor. Thank you Chelsea for helping me be a birth warrior!
Chelsea was amazing! she made sure right from the start that she knew what I wanted my birth experience to be like. My son was 6 days late and she was great at keeping me focused and on track when I was getting anxious for baby’s arrival. The day my water broke she was readily available whenever I needed her and by my side from 9pm until 4:30am when my son was born And still had her day job to get to!!! I couldn’t say thank you enough and was so greatful to have her during my first unmedicated birth.
Chelsea is an amazing intuitive Doula . She is great advocate for the mother as well as an educator. She is there to help you achieve the birth you want , whatever that may look like. My experience with her by my side through the whole prenatal ,labor and postpartum process with my son was something I'll never forget and I am forever grateful for her support.
Having Chelsea by my side for my third and fourth birthing experiences was a large part of my healing journey from the two previous births, where I felt lost and disconnected. She was so patient and open to letting things unfold naturally. Her presence was calming yet solid - she helped me stay focused all the way to 42 weeks - and through labor - we actually laughed hard at something, which is a favorite memory. Her patience & love for mother and child through the birthing journey is a treasure. Forever grateful.
I would recommend Chelsea 100%. I utilized her services for my second pregnancy as a “just in case” insurance policy. Having someone available 24/7 “just in case” your baby is sent to the NICU and your husband goes with baby, or “just in case” you don’t mesh with your labor nurse, or “just in case” you go into labor at home and you’re not sure what to do. She came to me as a recommendation from a friend and I was immediately charmed by her caring demeanor and friendly personality. Chelsea is extremely open and available. She is both willing to share her personal experiences and readily listens while providing valuable feedback as you discuss your birth plans. Chelsea met with me and my family before and after labor at times that were convenient to my schedule. She always text me back within a short period of time when I had questions or comments that I wished to discuss. During labor she met us at the hospital in an expedient manner. When asked by hospital staff to leave the room at various points, she assertively made her way back to us when the not so helpful nurse did not immediately fetch her. During labor Chelsea provided an amazing foot rub utilizing pressure point and aroma therapy that made me progress from 2cm dilated to 10cm in aprox 90 minutes. Following the birth of my daughter she stayed to help him latch and breastfeed as the hospital did not have lactation consultants available in the middle of the night. I feel certain that we would not have had a successful breastfeeding journey if not for her assistance immediately following the birth. Chelsea may not be the most experienced Doula in town but her willingness to learn, empathetic personality, and calm attitude ensures her a long and prosperous future as a birth professional. I highly recommend you meet and interview Chelsea yourself.
If you are expecting a little one I highly recommend Chelsea Lindblad for a Doula!! She was there for us during one of the most important times in our lives and she was extremely supportive. I went into early labor multiple times and she was there. When the Dr put me on bedrest she stayed in constant contact to make sure that I was doing ok and that my spirits were up. The birth was the easiest birth out of all 3 of my children and Chelsea played a major roll in that. Thank you, Chelsea, for helping us bring our tiny miracles into the world!!
